What you're talking about is "fresh" cord. And it's something we needed to tell them ahead of time with a third party company. They freeze the fresh cord cryogenically and store it for a hefty fee. And when there is something that happens to go wrong in the future, they thaw it out.
We thought about it. It costs around $2000. There is a company that does that here in BC.
