A momentous day. We've trained hard for the last two/three weeks for this moment. A lot of tummy time. Most attempts were both frustrating and suffocating.
These pics were not really taken in 'real time'. It was a span of about half an hour. You can see her determination to roll. After each failed attempt... she would rest and recouperate.. then try again.
Her glorious success was finished off with a smile!
Now, what's the next challenge, Dad?!?

The progressive sequence sure did test my patience.
ReplyDeleteWasn't sure if she was gonna finish. We waited there.. encouraging her...and hoping the batteries in the camera didn't die.
After the smile, she puked up twice. Guess it was from all that rocking.
Her look vary greatly. Depending on angle, light, etc.

well, you got the idea of the alternate list. let me break it down to you....
ReplyDeleteMissouri takes about 76 students. ~20 are from out of state. so for me to get into the alt list, that means i beat out ~250-300 other out of state applicants to be on that list! I'm honored just to BE on the list!! 4.0 GPA is not enough. an applicant needs all types of experience, including vet, food animal, zoo, wildlife along with extracurricular actives, high GRE scores (which mine are about avergae) and good recommendations. I'm SURE that are those smart asses that get really high GRE scores and those are the ones that beat me. That's ok, i'm just so shocked that I they believe i have what it takes! =D
btw, i'm coming over ~ on the 16th...
are you guys going to be there, or in Taiwan?
